Corporate Entertainment
Dear Friend,
My name is Zach Waldman. I'm
a professional comedian and magician that provides marketing services in the form of entertainment for tradeshows,
sales meetings, hospitality suites, product launches, promotions,
grand openings, and more.
Pack your tradeshow booth with so many leads your salespeople can't breathe (instead of watching tumbleweeds roll past your empty and expensive display).
Get people's attention and get them involved with your product or service (magic is interactive so your products become interactive).
Stand out from the crowd (instead of blending in and being forgotten).
- I have a direct marketing background which I combine with comedy and magic to sell your product or service.
- I have a reputation among the biggest celebrities and CEOS as a great comedian and magician. When the stars want to be entertained, they hire me (when guests at your event recognize me, they'll know you hired the best).
|
 |
- 100% Money Back Guarantee (if you don't love my show, you don't pay a cent).
- All
of your guests will be laughing and will be amazed at what they
see (instead of sitting around bored).
- I make your job as easy as possible (simple booking process and confirmation lets you relax knowing that everything is taken care of).\
- If people are yawning at your sales meetings, it's time to do something different. I can wake up, motivate, and educate your sales force. They'll retain more information, have more fun, and they'll have more energy throughout the rest of the meeting.
You will not be embarrassed by an offensive show (you'll join your guests in amazement and laughter and you'll be relaxed knowing the entertainment is appropriate for your group).
I can accommodate you under all conditions. Problems arise, things happen, but one of your problems WON'T be an entertainer that acts like a prima donna.
You'll
be focused on making sales (instead of trying to get people to stop at your tradeshow booth, you'll be busy writing orders).
No Road crew, no giant props, and no assistants to manage. My show is the ultimate in "Pack Small and Play Big." I can entertain a group of 5 or 5000 and it will be the same amount of work for you. All of the props I use fit in a case so small I take it on the plane! This means you get a giant show without the giant headaches.
FREE and easy phone consultation. My number is 310-922-6244. If you call that number, you won't get my agent, manager, office assistant, or anybody else. I answer that phone and am ready to help tailor a show to your needs and your audience.
You will always be in constant communication with me (no wondering if I'm going to show up).
Tradeshows:
Stop
prospects dead in their tracks.
Draw
a HUGE crowd of people in and around your booth.
Make
sure prospects hear your message.
Generate
leads.
Hand
out promotional material while you have the attention of the
people that matter most to your business.
You'll
get more badge scans because after the presentation I'll trade
the prospects a free magic trick for letting us collect their
information.
Hospitality
Suites:
Garner
good will.
A
great tool to help your branding efforts.
An
intimate performance that leaves an unforgettable impact on
clients.
Sales
Meetings:
Motivate
your team at the next sales meeting. Instead of being bored
and lethargic, your sales people will leave amazed, pumped up,
and ready to sell.
I incorporate
ideas about asking for and getting referrals, having the right
attitude to get the sale, and creating trust and relationships
in business.
Reward
and spotlight key players and high achievers.
An Example of Customization:
SKILL: Prospecting
IDEA: Prospecting is really just a matter of mental discipline.
EFFECT:
I
show an empty bag and fill it with jellybeans while telling
the following story:
What
if I showed you a big bag of multi-colored jellybeans and threw
in one $50,000 diamond. Then I blindfolded you and said you
could scoop handfuls of the mix as long as you wished, before
giving the next person a shot. When do you think you would stop
"prospecting"? Before you got that diamond? Of course
not. Think of that bag of jellybeans as you set your sales goal
each day and go for that diamond. Then, when you get it, go
home, enjoy your success and get stoked for a great day tomorrow.
At
the end of the story, I reach into the bag and pull out a diamond
ring, but all of the jellybeans have vanished.
Nobody
will forget that message.

Consistent
pricing so you can be confident of your decision (you won't
have to worry that the next person calling is getting a better
deal while you get taken).
Fully
customized programs. A lot of entertainers claim to customize
their programs and they charge a lot more for these shows. However,
when you see them at some other event, the show is almost identical.
Just saying the company's name isn't customization.
Hip
entertainment (not bland, low-energy stuff you've seen a thousand
times).
Fun
entertainment that people will remember for a long time.
More
effective entertainment. Why not entertain people and accomplish
something for your business? Whether you're trying to generate
leads at your tradeshow, motivate your sales force, or make
a great impression on clients, I can help.
Sophisticated
shows (no cornball antics to embarrass you).
You
won't have to worry about complaints or regret the next day
(clean, appropriate material means you can relax and enjoy the
show with confidence because you've hired a professional).
Your
products and services will be presented the way you want them
seen. Yes, people will be entertained, but they'll also leave
with a great feeling about your company and what it does.
Highlight
key players and make them feel great (long after the plaque
is collecting dust, your high achievers will always remember
being the star of the show).
You
can relax or take care of important business. You don't want
to hold somebody's hand throughout your event. I'm a professional,
I've done this stuff a million times, and I know what to do.
After I arrive, I get down to business. It's one less thing
you have to worry about which frees you up to take care of things
like networking, selling, or handling a real business crisis.
Comedy
that people remember. Your guests and clients will be laughing,
they'll feel good, and they'll have you to thank for it. This
is so much better than having to apologize for the lousy entertainer
that seemed good on the phone.
When
you think of magic, you may think of a clown or a child's birthday
party. After witnessing a professional sleight of hand artist,
your opinion will be forever changed. This is intimate entertainment
suitable for all of your corporate events.
No
embarrassing moments.
No
foul language.
No
hard sales.
Memories
that will last forever (I get people constantly telling me they
still have a memento from one of my shows. Sometimes, they even
have it in their wallet or purse to prove it.)
Better
pricing with better value. My motto is, "over deliver."
A lot of entertainers simply show up and do what's expected,
nothing more. When I leave your event, you'll feel like you
got a bargain because I'm willing to go the extra mile to make
you look great.
Entertainment
that really does something. I own this company, I know how important
it is to me so I know how important your business is to you.
You'll be getting somebody that's working to help you succeed.
So many of these other performers don't have a conscience; they
just want their fee. Most of them simply don't care what happens
after they perform and leave.

ONE: My clients use me again and again. There's one magician I know of that teaches marketing to other magicians. He says, "Don't worry if your act stinks because marketing is so strong that there's enough work to last you a lifetime even if you only work for each of your clients once." Wow, I wonder how his customers would feel if they knew his philosophy. Once you see how easy it is to work with me and how great my show is, I'm sure we'll have a relationship that lasts for years.
TWO: Some people say they hate magicians. My ex-girlfriend is one of them. Here's the thing. If you see a band that stinks, you don't think all bands are horrible, do you? For some reason, when somebody sees a bad magician, they think ALL magicians are the same. People constantly tell me, "Zach, you changed my mind about magic, I had no idea how cool it could be!" Since I'm both a stand-up comedian and a magician, I also hear the concern people have about the comedy
being dirty. Once I perform though, they come up and tell me how relieved they are that the show was appropriate for their audience.
THREE: I'm a member of the most prestigious magic associations in the world. I've been a member of the Society of American Magicians for over 20 years. I'm a performing magician member of the Academy of Magical Arts, better known as The Magic Castle. Only the best magicians in the world perform at The Magic Castle and I'm honored to be a part of its history. I was also the house magician at Crustacean Restaurant in Beverly Hills, CA for nine years.
FOUR: You'll get a FREE consultation over the phone, you'll have no problem staying in communication with me, you'll get all of your paperwork returned promptly, you'll get a performer that shows up on time and over delivers a great show yours guests will love. You get all of the credit for hiring a very exclusive and prestigious artist.

"My image of magic was shattered the night you entertained our BusinessWeek clients. I had no idea how powerful and sophisticated intimate sleight of hand could be.
Booking you added a great touch to our party, and our customers are still talking about how much you added to the “magic” of the evening. Not only did you add a unique, surprise element to the party, but you were also great to work with. From our first contact to the end of the party, you were a consummate professional.
Thanks for helping BusinessWeek make a great impression. Our Clients are already asking about next year!"
Best Regards,
Bob Maund

"I wanted to take a moment to thank you for helping make Absolut’s “Day at the Races” a success. The day was intended to show our appreciation to some of our key customers. What we didn’t want was a stuffy or uncomfortable “hard sell” atmosphere."
Sincerely,

"Zach demonstrated throughout the course of the night wonderful skills as a magician as he captivated the audience with his performance. He was not only charismatic but funny as well. He followed direction well and had a great attitude. It was his enthusiasm and skill however, that make Zach stand out so clearly in my mind as a wonderful addition to our evening."

I want to make one thing very clear. I love my fellow entertainers. From the face painter at a kids party to the jazz trio at a wedding, I have an enormous amount of respect for all artists.
As artists, we’re all very different. However, there is ONE thing that’s universally true with entertainers that’s separate from art. The higher the fee the entertainer commands, the better the show is.
If a comedy-magician is only asking $700.00 for a corporate event, he must think that’s all his show is worth, and he might be right!
If you read my testimonial letters and saw the celebrities I’ve worked for, you know I perform nationally for the most demanding clients in the most competitive markets.
I live in Los Angeles and there’s a lot of talented comedians and magicians here. When celebrities and Fortune 500 Companies want to be entertained, they call me.
So, if you’re looking for the cheapest comedian or magician for your corporate event, I’m not your guy. That being said, if you want the BEST entertainment for your dollar, let me tell you about the different shows I offer.

Standard Services:
STROLLING CLOSE-UP MAGIC is something that the people attending your events will talk about for a long time. Instead of a bunch of boxes that look rigged, spectators get to see magic with objects like coins and cards. The show happens up close and personal so everybody gets involved. The magic happens right in their hands!
This is sophisticated sleight of hand, not kiddy magic. It's incredibly powerful and very intimate. Everything I use fits in my pockets and doesn't take up any extra room. I don't require a stage, a sound system, a table, or anything else. Just me, my hands, and the stuff in my pockets. I will approach your guests while they're seated or standing, entertain them for 5-15 minutes, and then move on to another group where I'll perform another show.
Strolling close-up magic is great because it doesn't require the entire party's attention at one time. People that are enjoying their conversations aren't interrupted. On the other hand, guests that look bored, shy, or just need an icebreaker, welcome the diversion. It gets guests talking and brings them together. A
FORMAL CLOSE-UP MAGIC SHOW can be done for 2-35 guests. If you're having a small, intimate gathering and would like some entertainment, this is the perfect option for you. The show audience participation, comedy, and of course, world class sleight of hand. The show runs one hour.
The STAND-UP COMEDY & MAGIC STAGE SHOW doesn't require a big stage, but the results are huge. This show can be done for an audience of 50 or 5,000 people. I utilize a ton of audience participation and the show runs 45 minutes.
Custom Corporate Shows:
Tradeshows: If you're serious about generating leads at your tradeshow, we truly have to become partners in order for it to be effective. Here's the basic guidelines, but remember, this is a custom service designed for your needs. With that in mind, when you book me for your tradeshow, the bigger and higher the riser, the better. If I'm on the ground, it greatly limits the number of people that can see which in turn limits the crowds we can get at your booth.
Assuming you can have a nice big and tall riser built for your booth, I also require a hands free and wireless sound system. Again, the bigger and louder, the better.
The first hour and last hour of tradeshows are slow times. It's not effective to have me in your booth when there's nobody walking the show. So, I start my first presentation one hour after the show opens and I stop one hour before it closes.
My presentation is customized to highlight the features and benefits of your product or service and runs about eight minutes. I perform the routine twice an hour for five hours during the tradeshow.
Sales Meetings: I have a background in direct marketing, goal setting, sales, advertising, motivation, interpersonal communication, and speaking. Before becoming a professional entertainer, I've held jobs in broadcasting (including working for Howard Stern), technology, customer service, and a bunch of other whacky stuff. The bottom line is I can take the theme of your sales meeting and perform a custom show, or you can tell me what topic you'd like me to speak about and I can build a custom program for you around that subject. Of course, the lecture will be fun and full of comedy and magic.

Let's say you plan on having 100 people at your event and it costs you $50.00/person for food and drinks. You're spending $5,000.00 minimum and NOBODY will care or remember anything about the food or drinks.
Compared to the cost of food and drinks, on a per person basis my shows are a bargain. Not only do my shows make sense for your pocketbook, people will remember your special event because they had so much fun.
